It was a lengthy investigation: the Wolfratshausen police handed over all the reports on the fatal accident on the B11 to the public prosecutor.
Wolfratshausen - A tragic accident occurred on the B11 in the evening of December 17th: A 21-year-old Afghan, who had apparently been walking along the busy road in the dark, was hit by a car and fatally injured. The driver fled, a tip from the population led the police to the suspect, a pensioner from Wolfratshausen. The officers secured the alleged accident car in his garage. In the meantime, the police investigations have been completed, and according to Chief Commissioner Steffen Frühauf, all of the reports are now available. The entire material will now be handed over to the public prosecutor. She is the mistress of the further procedure. The suspect is charged with negligent homicide.

The investigation was immense, the police did not reveal details. Among other things, video recordings were evaluated and residents of the accident site in the Farchet district were interviewed. The officers also reconstructed where and how the victim spent the last days and hours before the fatal collision with the car. To date, the police have not given any details of the suspected pensioner, who is being represented by a lawyer.

In the course of the investigation, the accident on the B11 was reconstructed. For this purpose, the parties involved, including Dekra experts, used the pensioner's car and the deceased's clothing from the evidence room. It was put on a doll. In order to be able to answer the question in the report, what the driver could perceive on the street at the time in question on December 17, the experts used special cameras and special software. Frühauf, deputy head of the Wolfratshausen police inspection, does not comment on the result of the accident analysis report.
