Three more people have died in the fires that are ravaging California
and that have already forced thousands of people from their homes.
Thus rises to at least 11, reports the BBC, the death toll from fires in this state.
According to the police, one of the victims was overcome by smoke and flames as he fled on foot after his car ran into a ditch.
Previously, the fires had already resulted in the deaths of two people in the state of Oregon and another in the state of Washington.
