Lady Gaga is not a friend of the subtle appearance.
Her appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards a few years ago is unforgettable: Gaga came wrapped in several layers of Argentinian beef.
The singer, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, also appeared in a striking plush look at this year's MTV awards ceremony - and won five awards.
Now Lady Gaga has submitted her election papers for the US presidential election - and did not want to go about it without glamor: In an oversized sweater that she wore as a dress and dizzying high heels, the singer strutted from her car to the beat of her song "Babylon" Ballot box.
A special accessory was the pin that read "I have chosen".
With her appearance she could also have opened a catwalk show.
In the past few weeks, the 34-year-old had repeatedly called for votes, shared information on voting and documented her voting process on Instagram and Twitter.
On Instagram, she posted a video in which she prepared sandwiches as a snack for the election.
Under the post, she wrote that voters should prepare for the long lines in front of the polling stations.
She smeared herself - classically American - sandwiches with peanut butter and jam.
The sandwiches no longer appear in her catwalk video.
