Tal Kalakh city council in Homs countryside, in cooperation with the Technical Services Directorate in the governorate, started a project to rehabilitate and pave a number of roads in the city.
Hassan Merhi, head of the city council, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that a project to rehabilitate and pave the main road to the city of Tal Kalakh has now started, with a value of 105 million liras.
Mari pointed out that work will be done during the project on a number of road sections according to two phases, the first with a value of 60 million and extending from the entrance to the city on the international highway in Homs Tartous to the site of the automatic furnace and the industrial secondary school, and it includes skimming and paving the old asphalt and the second with a value of 45 million pounds to complete the main road to the village Telsarin, west of the city.
And Mari indicated that the council has completed the project of rehabilitating and paving a number of streets in the city, in addition to rehabilitating grills and rain ferries in preparation for the winter season, with a contract value of 25 million pounds.
