A Mercedes Vito crashed through a gate in Vierkirchen on Tuesday morning and then into the house of a family of four because the driver (63) slipped his foot off the brake on the accelerator.
The pickup truck also broke through the wall and pushed into the kitchen of the property.

A 63-year-old from Munich was driving his Mercedes Vito on Tuesday around 10.30 a.m. on Guttenbrunnstrasse in Vierkirchen in the direction of Ganghofer Strasse.
At the junction with Ganghofer Strasse, the man slipped his foot from the brake pedal onto the gas pedal.
Due to a serious pre-existing illness, he could no longer lift his leg and crashed straight into a yard gate, which was thrown against a car parked on the property.
The Mercedes then broke through the wall of the single-family home of a family of four and only came to a stop in the kitchen.
Thank goodness none of the family was home at this point.
The pensioner suffered minor injuries and had to be brought to the Pfaffenhofen Clinic by the ambulance service.
The total damage is around 215,000 euros.
After consulting the responsible public prosecutor's office, the driver's license was secured.
A neighbor who overheard the accident said that the Mercedes was not traveling very fast.
"Several neighbors helped the man out of the car," said the woman.
She herself then notified the house owner.
As the house owner told the local newspaper, the family is currently not allowed into the building.
"We have been assigned a hotel room for two days, after which we can stay with friends," said the mother of two.
Since the house wall is a load-bearing wall, the Vierkirchen fire brigade and THW had to be called in to rescue the Mercedes.
The Vierkirchen fire department was the first to be on site.
"We looked after the injured man until the rescue arrived," said Commander Manfred Huber.
Then his people would have supported the family house together with the THW.
The Vierkirchen fire brigade was on site with three emergency vehicles and around 15 personnel, the THW with four vehicles.
The Vito could only be recovered by a towing service after the wall had been secured with supports.
A structural engineer is currently checking whether the house in danger of collapsing is still habitable.
The Dachau police do not currently have any results.
