The properties that are owned by the national State occupy an area of more than 129,000 square kilometers across the country.
In the midst of the debate over the usurpation of land on Buenos Aires land as in other provinces,
the Government began a survey to determine which state agencies have real estate and what use they give them
.
The information is not systematized, much less clarified.
In fact,
there are 18,379 unclassified properties representing more than 10,000 km2.
The list includes everything from airport surfaces, rural layout properties, electrical easements and railway properties to all types of property.
The State owns 76,475 properties throughout the country
.
Some of the assets he owns are the product of seizures and that the Justice puts under his guardianship to proceed with the corresponding auctions, but they are the least.
The report prepared by the State Property Administration Agency (AABE), and accessed by
Clarín
, puts some striking numbers and data on the surface.
Among them the amount of properties that were never relieved.
It is about 18,739 properties (from land to properties of the most diverse), which the State never classified, and
nobody knows if they are being used or not
.
They represent an area of 10,050 square kilometers.
As a result of this situation, the AABE began a survey to order all the properties that are under its orbit.
Then he sent all the ministries and state agencies a note requiring them to specify
what properties they have at their disposal, how many there are, their details and, above all, what use they are being given
.
The state does not know that either.
The task started recently and has not produced results yet.
The AABE was established as the centralizer of "all the administration of movable and immovable property of the National State, providing the exclusive exercise of the administration of the latter when it does not correspond to other state organisms."
After a preliminary survey, it was concluded that the real estate registry that belongs to the State is outdated, also accounting for
"duplications, inconsistencies and defects in the entry of data and information
, resources whose authenticity and reliability are vital for the fulfillment of the objectives ", which are basically to have complete knowledge of how much real estate and what use is being given to them.
A period of
thirty days was given
for all State agencies to report on the characteristics and situation of the properties, as well as the "proprietary, registry, cadastral, surveying information, affectations and restrictions of the properties that make up the patrimony of the State".
Based on this reorganization, the same Decree
created the National Registry of Real Estate of the State (RENABE)
, whose purpose is to enter, register and
cancel
the real estate that make up the State's assets.
The AABE is the enforcement authority of this Registry.
There is a significant amount of real estate within the universe in use, disenfranchised and concessioned, which at the moment "are underutilized in the different jurisdictions of the National State."
As explained from the AABE, the largest amount of real estate that belongs to the State
is in the hands of the Armed Forces and Universities.
In the case of the latter, they have a total of 1,187 properties, while the Naval Prefecture has 1,104, Gendarmerie 1,848, Army General Staff 1,571, and the Navy 2,592.
There are other numbers to consider.
There are 3,138 assets disposed of, not yet transferred, covering 684 square kilometers
.
And more than 5,900 properties are under analysis, according to the official report.
On the other hand, those properties product of donations, expropriations, seizures amount to 550.
