EDF is planning to build six new reactors in France. The first of the reactors is due to be completed by the end of the year.
EDF is also planning to renegotiate some of its contracts with energy companies to make them more affordable. The company is also looking at ways to reduce the cost of energy by using more renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar power, to make up for the loss of the nuclear power. The project is expected to cost around $2.5 billion.
