Thousands of civil servants will be accommodated in 14 hotels in Eilat for the benefit of the "Mukhiyada" - a five-day collective vacation in the guise of a sports competition for amateurs. The event is subsidized at the expense of the public purse.
One of the potential participants, who decided to stay working in the office because of a bad mood, said: "Has anyone paid attention to this stupid extravagance? Evacuees are still in hotels and state employees leave everything and go out to celebrate"
