A pH value of 3.5 to 4 is optimal for the plants to grow and thrive. When growing it is therefore best to use special soil for strawberries or rhododendrons. Grow two different varieties - then you will harvest more berries. Blueberry bushes prefer a sunny location. The plants must not be planted too deep in the soil.
