A manufacturer from Pellworm warns about three of their types of cheese. The goods could be contaminated with listeria, and consumers are strongly advised not to consume them.

The trigger for these recalls was always listeria, which was discovered during routine checks. Again and again, these and many other contaminated products find their way into the food trade despite strict controls and hygiene regulations. The cheese dairy has now announced that microbiological contamination has been detected or “cannot be ruled out.’ The cheese is classified as “not suitable for consumption,’ the company announces on its website. The recall was even expanded again. Just yesterday there was a warning about several kinds of cheese at Rewe; today the recall was expanded again, the company said.
