Alessandro Michele new Valentino creative director. Michele replaces Pierpaolo Piccioli who stepped down as the maison's chief stylist earlier this month.
The iconic Italian fashion house said Michele would take up the post as of 2 April. It said: "This moment marks the beginning of a new journey aimed at intensifying that the brand's unique values, heritage and couture codes continue to shine in the world through AlessandroMichele's extraordinary perspective and rich experience"
