The Tölzer Ski Club almost went into the red in 2023. But a considerable inheritance saved the annual balance.

The late Paul Frosch left the ski club, in addition to an apartment, a securities account worth around 155,000 euros, and the insurance company for the hail damage. The club ended up with a six-figure sum in the black. The summer training for the Alpine and Nordic youngsters is now taking place together, which has proven to be successful. Due to the lack of snow in this country, many training trips had to be made to neighboring Austria, to Pertisau, to Leutasch, and also to Seefeld. “At the Raiffeisencup, the regional competition for young cross-country skiers, only eight planned races could take place, four were carried out. – Markus Lachenmair, the alpine sports director of the club.
