Residents have collected signatures against a recycling collection point in Tading. The municipality still wants to stick to the location between the parking spaces on Pfarrer-Riedmaier-Straße.

The mayor refuted the concern that the construction would result in the loss of parking spaces for the church and the shooting center. The main reason for the administration and the local council to look for additional locations was to ensure that a part of the community was not placed under excessive strain. This has been true for decades in the district of Forstern, says the mayor Rainer Streu (AWG), who has promised to make such matters public better and faster in the future, wanting to communicate with the public. The district office is therefore looking for other locations for the collection points in the area. Only four councilors voted to overturn the decision for Tading. The administration also wants to discuss the idea of setting up containers on the building yard forecourt. This decision was unanimous. The residents who were at the meeting saw this as a partial success. But they want to'stay on the ball’ so that the other locations are actually realized. The committee had already rejected the site on Ulmenweg in February. Preisdorf is currently carrying the burden of disposing of glass, paper, and old clothes in Tading, Forstern, and Karlsdorf. It is hoped that a solution will be found by the end of the year or in early 2015. The decision will be made on whether or not to build a new children's home in the town of Tading in the summer of 2015. It will be decided at a later date whether to build the new children's home in Karlsdorf in the autumn of 2015 or in the spring of 2016.
