Renovation work needs to be carried out on the Ammerseewerke gKU collection sewer in Utting. The canal, built in the 1960s, actually transports wastewater from the communities of Raisting, Dießen, and Riederau via Utting and Schondorf to the association sewage treatment plant in Eching.

By using innovative renovation technology, excavation work can largely be dispensed with; small excavation pits are only required in some shafts. The tube liner process is used over long distances: a fiberglass fabric tube soaked in polyester resin is inserted into the previously cleaned sewer and cured there using UV light to form a new pipe. House connection lines on the properties from the house inspection shaft to the collecting sewer as well as the inspection shafts themselves will also be renovated. This can also be done using the pipe liner method without excavation. In order to be able to carry out the work, the wastewater must be pumped past the collecting canal. For this purpose, pumps will be set up, and pipelines will be laid.
