A 17-year-old boy was indicted for his scooter attack which left one victim in March. Faced with investigators, the teenager admitted to being the author of the shot but invoked self-defense.
The victim, discovered on the ground by the police, was shot in the abdomen. She was transported in serious condition to the Nantes University Hospital, where she is still without her life being in danger. The weapon used in the attempted murder was not found by investigators. This attempted murder on a scooter, however, once again illustrates the use of firearms by increasingly young delinquents in the city, regrets the public prosecutor of Nantes. The motive for the attack remains a mystery. The young man turned out to be already known to the justice system, well known even since he had already recently been convicted of several drug cases. The accused was placed in pre-trial detention. He was arrested on April 10 at his home by agents of the Organized and Specialized Crime Division.
