Nicolás Pachelo was sentenced to life imprisonment for the crime of María Marta García Belsunce. It was resolved by the Buenos Aires Cassation Chamber I, which analyzed the appeals to the ruling that had acquitted him.
He had been acquitted last Friday, December 2, 2022 by the Oral Criminal Court (TOC) 4 of San Isidro. After the ruling, prosecutors Patricio Ferrari, Andrés Quintana and Federico González presented an appeal to the Court. The appeal that has now been resolved with Cassation.
