Andreas Hatzl from Esting worked on the farm until the end and was completely committed. He has now died at the age of 81.

Hatzlhof is one of the large, well-known organic farms in the district. Today the company, which includes a potato packing plant, benefits from its convenient location near the B 471. The father was initially skeptical about the junior's desire to switch to organic farming. "He has made a dream come true," says Andreas Hatzl junior, who followed in his father's footsteps. He was also right in the middle of Estinger club life. He belonged to the volunteer fire department and the shooting club. He loved social events, folk festivals, and especially the Oktoberfest. Just two weeks before his death, he took part in the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Association for Agricultural Education (vlf). His wife Marianne was at his side for 55 years, and they had been married for 40 years.
