The Polish Minister of Defense announced this Thursday that his country would send military reinforcements to help secure the competition. The staff will, according to him, include dog handlers to help detect explosives.
“The Polish armed forces will join the international coalition set up by France to support the preparation and security of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games,” Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said on X, without specifying the number of soldiers deployed. More information to come on Le Parisien.
