For the Friedkin family, De Rossi, 40, deserved the renewal on the pitch and not only for what he did on the green pitch but also for "the positive impact that his leadership has brought to the club." In fact, the sign of discontinuity with the past management by José Mourinho is evident: arbitration and transfer controversies have been abandoned in the face of an always positive attitude towards management, players, and football institutions. "We would throw ourselves into the fire for the coach," said the Giallorossi captain who, under De Rossi, has identified the right man to continue Roma's growth path.
