The medical cannabis reform goes into effect on April 1 after a three-month postponement due to the war. The handling of issuing prescriptions and licenses for medical cannabis will be transferred to the responsibility of the health funds from the Ministry of Health.

Only a prescription will be required for the following 10 indications: for oncology patients during chemotherapy or radiation treatments; patients with inflammatory bowel disease; multiple sclerosis patients; Parkinson's patients; Tourette's Syndrome; AIDS patients; epilepsy; Autism spectrum disorder; dementia; Terminally ill patients.
