Ukraine says it has arrested two suspected Russian agents. One of the suspects photographed a thermal power plant, apparently to help Russia strike Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

The two men have been charged with collaboration and face life in prison. Since the start of the conflict, Ukraine has opened more than 6,600 criminal proceedings against individuals “for collaboration or other crimes linked to the conflict” the UN indicated at the end of 2023. The suspects were arrested red-handed while spying on potential targets for the occupiers, the SBU said.
