The northwestern part of the country will experience a beautiful sunny morning and clear spells throughout the afternoon. The eastern half will experience cloudy skies with showers and thunderstorms.

Snowfall may drop early in the morning to around 400 to 500 m in the Massif Central, 500 to 700 m in the Vosges, Jura, and Alps. The weather will remain dry in Languedoc-Roussillon. Around the Mediterranean, the wind could blow up to 80 km/h in gusts. Cotentin and Brittany will remain under cloudless sunshine, with a 14°C forecast in Brest. Some scattered rain could fall in Lille. Corsica will, in turn, be exposed to the risk of storms. In the evening and at night, the weather should stabilize with the return of sunny spells across the country except in the north of France.
