The Professional Football League (LFP) is launching an awareness campaign against intolerance this weekend. In recent seasons, the “Homo or straight, we all wear the same jersey” operation had to face resistance in certain locker rooms.
In 2023, half a dozen players from Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 – at least – even preferred to stay in the stands rather than wear a rainbow-colored jersey and number. After intense discussions, it was chosen to deploy two similar systems for the days of fight against racism.
