German biathlon star hints at returning after career end. Benedikt Doll has ended his active biathlon career.
He doesn't want to work as a coach, as he recently admitted in a media round. Doll will study Sustainable Systems Engineering, which is about finding automation for heating controls and air conditioning to make buildings more eco-friendly. The 34-year-old's highlights of his career were the Olympic bronze medals in Pyeongchang 2018 in the pursuit and relay. In total he won eight medals at major events.
