Gusts of more than 100 km/h were recorded in the ski resort of Cervinia in the Italian Alps, severely shaking a chairlift. A few passengers were still on the seats when the lift was closed due to deteriorating weather conditions.

Fortunately, they were able to disembark without the slightest injury at the top of the mountain a few minutes later, "thanks to the rapid intervention and professionalism of the company's employees", said the company which manages the lifts. In images shared on social networks, we can see the chairlifts caught in the storm and shaken in all directions, while skiers are still on board.
