(ANSA) - AOSTA, DECEMBER 13 - "It is possible to consider closed the emergency phase activated at the end of September, without prejudice to the unpredictability of potential collapses of portions of the glacier" of Planpincieux, on the Italian side of the Mont Blanc massif. The announcement was made by the Department of the Territory of the Autonomous Region of Valle d'Aosta "following the report on the monitoring of the Planpincieux glacier" signed by Fondazione Foura mountain (FMS) and "which highlights the passage, relative to its kinematics, to glacial dynamics winter type ". The update bulletin will no longer be issued but FMS technicians "will continue, however, in the continuous analysis of the monitoring data of the glacial phenomenon, monitoring that the next days and weeks will see the movement of the interferometric radar from the Planpincieux square to the new station along the old Val access road Ferret and the installation of the Doppler radar detection system for road management ".
