Cantonal Police Bern amused with "Star Wars" video

"This is not the parking lot you are looking for": The police in the Swiss canton of Bern amused with a "Star Wars" video - including a ticket for Stormtroopers.

In line with the start of the new movie "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalkers", the police in the Swiss canton of Bern have published a video alluding to the space saga. In the clip, Stormtrooper from "Star Wars" park their spaceship in the stopping ban. However, two police officers reprimand the park sinners and use the power, the supernatural power of the Jedi in the famous films.

"This is not the parking lot you are looking for," says one of the police officers to the assault soldiers. It is reminiscent of a cult scene from the first "Star Wars" film from 1977, in which Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and the young Luke Skywalker are stopped by the soldiers of the Empire. "These are not the droids you are looking for," says Kenobi and is allowed to happen to Skywalker shortly thereafter.

For the Bernese police duo Limacher and Moser, the matter has not yet been completely resolved. Because after giving the stormtroopers a ticket and sending them back to their spaceship, villain Darth Vader returns from the Christmas gift purchase.

"May the power of calm and serenity be with you," the cantonal police said at the end. The clip, which is part of an electronic Christmas card, can also be seen on YouTube.
