(ANSA) - ANCONA, DECEMBER 23 - Over 50 sardines gathered in Ancona, in front of the Fontana delle 13 Cannelle, just before a public meeting by Matteo Salvini in Piazza del Plebiscito, a few hundred meters away. Brandendolibri and a vinyl record of partisan songs are presented. One of the organizers Giorgio Mattiuzzo arrives with Pasquini's "The Constitution in 30 lessons". The others exhibit books by LilianaSegre, Primo Levi's 'The Truce' or volumes on fascism.
"We wanted to be present and be there - explains Mattiuzzo -, not to be mistaken for the group that decided to demonstrate against Salvini in Piazza del Plebiscito. We are Sardinian-peaceful - he underlines, referring to a small garrison of law enforcement -. We brought a book because Politics cannot be a slogan, they are complex subjects, coffee because it is time to wake up. This is our slogan, we are craftsmen of our destiny, we need to be informed. The Constitution is at the base of everything ".
