"Terminator" in the snow: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Clint Eastwood reported on the ski slope via Instagram - and a challenge for the users.

Hollywood greats Arnold Schwarzenegger (72) and Clint Eastwood (89) have reported from their winter vacation together. "Name me a more iconic duo. I'm waiting," Schwarzenegger wrote on Instagram for a photo that shows them on a snow-covered ski slope. They stand on skis, wear ski goggles and ski suits.

US colleague Jim Belushi simply commented the picture with: "Icons". Actor Rob Lowe said: "Mount Rushmore Level" - and thus reminded of the monument with the portrait heads of four US presidents.

"Terminator" star Schwarzenegger and Oscar winner Eastwood ("Million Dollar Baby") have been friends for many years. Schwarzenegger used to call his older colleague, who will be turning 90 at the end of May, "a great idol" and described him as an inspiration for his acting career. Because he had to adapt his roles to his age, Schwarzenegger explained back in 2011 - using Clint Eastwood, who became famous as a taciturn western hero, as a role model.

"Extreme battles or shootings are no longer possible," said Schwarzenegger. Instead, he wanted to be challenged more as an actor. "I am like a sponge that absorbs knowledge and is always ready to learn new things," said Schwarzenegger.
