(ANSA) - MILAN, JANUARY 3 - European stock markets worsen with war events in the Middle East after the American attack on Baghdad airport and the killing of Iranian general Qassem Saleimani. The oil race continues with the 63 dollar WTI per barrel, at the highest levels of the last four months.
The area index stoxx 600 drops 0.6%. In red Frankfurt (-1.2%), Milan (-1.1%), Madrid (-0.8%), Paris and London (-0.5%). Hi-tech (-1%) and cars (-1.4%) are down. The energy sector is running (+ 1%) with the increase in the price of oil.
