Bad weather alert for winds in the south

(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 4 - A large, deep and low pressure area, extending from Scandinavia to the Balkans, will convey intense flows of cold air to our country tomorrow, promoting a decisive reinforcement of ventilation from the north, in particular on the central Adriatic sectors and on the southern regions.
On the basis of available forecasts, the Department of Civil Protection has issued a warning of adverse meteorological conditions which foresees from the morning of strong north-eastern wind or storms on Abruzzo, especially coastal and southern sectors, on Molise, Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily with possible strong storm gusts on the Ionian and southern Puglia, waited along the exposed coasts.
