Influenza continues to hit: A 54-year-old influenza patient passed away Monday at Carmel Medical Center in Haifa. This increases the number of people who died as a result of the disease. The condition of more than 167 people with influenza is difficult.
The patient, a resident of the north, arrived in the hospital yesterday in severe heart condition. After the cardiologists at the hospital diagnosed cardiac inflammation, the patient was urgently screened, transferred to the intensive care unit and placed on a heart-lung machine. Despite the CPR efforts, the patient died in the afternoon.
At the same time, a 38-year-old woman who arrived at the hospital was diagnosed with flu. The birth was successful today, the baby and her baby were transferred to an isolation room and there they received medication. At present, the condition of the baby and her baby are good.
