(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 06 - The triumphant march of ToloTolo continues: the new film by Checco Zalone, which at the debut broke every record in the history of Italian cinema, touched 30 million euros (29,967,803 euros) in five programming days in theaters (1285 monitored by Cinetel, with 21.1 million raked over the weekend). In second place in the ranking of the weekend Jumanji: The Next Level, with a little more than 2 million (and 9.8 million in total), followed on the third row of the podium by Pinocchio, with 1 million 760 thousand euros (and over 13.4 million overall).
In fourth position we find The Goddess Fortune, the new film by Ferzan Ozpetek which slightly exceeds one million euros over the weekend (6.5 million in total), then the last chapter of the Star Wars saga, The rise of Skywalker (953 thousand euros , 12.3 million overall). The first Nataledi Ficarra and Picone (926 thousand euros over the weekend) slips into sixth position, which, with a total of 14.7 million, however, starts to occupy the second after the most viewed Italian films of the parties after Tolo Tolo (alnetto, again, of the day Befana, for a very unmissable appointment with the cinema).
New entry in seventh position was the dramatic 18 gifts (801 thousand euros of collection), then the phenomenon Frozen II - Ilsegreto di Arendelle, which brings home another 415 thousand euros on the total collection above 18.6 million. Closes the top ten: Sorry we missed you by Ken Loach (405 thousand euros) and Playmobil -The Movie (263 thousand euros).
Overall, thanks to the boom of Zalone, collections fly over 30.5 million, with a + 22% compared to last week and above all a + 74% compared to the first weekend of 2019. (ANSA).
