The entertainment industry awards season opens each year with the Golden Globe ceremony that has been going on since the 1940s. The ceremony, which was held this year for the 77th time, is a kind of institution that defines the elite tier of the entertainment industry, a kind of "beautiful and correct" list, without endeavoring to write it.

Not only are candidates and presenters attending the ceremony, anyone who is anything or was and respected for his achievements in the glamorous days will become worlds to succeed on the second most photographed red carpet, and an invitation means affirming affiliation with the most respected club in the entertainment world.

The right look at the Golden Globe event will be mild and glowing. Not as wild as the Grammy of the musicians, not as progressive as the annual gala event at the New York City Matt Museum, in elegant feathers and in a classic glam. Still, as quite a few stars have discovered over the years, boldness and charisma on the red carpet may pay off and lead to international exposure that could catapult a career.

We at home can draw inspiration from successful dresses and draw less successful conclusions when it comes to our private glamorous events. So who gambled successfully and who did shame?

The Israeli angle

Comedian Tiffany Hadish, one of the rising stars spoken in the past year and dear of the red carpet, chose to wear Israeli designer Galia Lahav this time, and even added a small Star of David in the pendant alongside large earrings. The fuchsia dress complimented her complexion, as did the cutout that complimented the comedian's natural feminine cut. It once again tasted good and continued its successful line of performances on the red carpet.

Do it for us

Laura Dern // Photo: AP

It took quite a bit of courage to appear in a bohemian dress for the red carpet, in which case the courage paid off. The veteran actress who appeared in "Little Big Lies" this year has managed to walk on quite a few rugs to date, looking glamorous and collected. It is precisely the glamorous Californian look in San Lauren's dress, with loose hair and laid-back makeup that works great.

Scarlett Johansson // Photo: AP

Scarlett is the epitome of the old Hollywood glamor, but in the movie she is playing this year, a marriage story, she represents a very mundane character. Scarlet arrived at the ceremony more beautifully than ever and shines ever more with carefully stretched hair. She wore a bold and classic dress at the time of Vera Wang and a formidable Bulgarian jewel. The bold red dress with a particularly deep heart key that does not detract from a millimeter of its elegance and a mermaid cut with a heavy trail. Incidentally, an amusing moment was observed when another glamorous blonde guest in a red dress, Nicole Kidman, burst into Johansson's interview. Blondes, this is your season to probably embrace the red.

Jay Lou had never been too worried about the red carpet, and it was beautiful to see the way she chose to pull it off this year, this time with a dress for Valentino Couture. With very little bare skin and a lot of cloth, she brings Luke that almost no one can hold.

Reese Witherspoon // Photo: AP

The blonde actress block we would recommend for any elegant bride to adopt. Sculpted, clean, glowing, and hair makeup that completes the look with no strenuous effort.

Charlize Theron // Photo: AP

We really liked the disputed dress of Dior, although not many designers can pinpoint such a cut, as not many dressers can look so elegant in a dress that looks semi-finished and glows in bright green. Still, the qualities of detail and the natural elegance of the dress create lucrative daring in this case.

We didn't understand

Zoe Kravitz // Photo: AP

Zoe Kravitz can't seem really bad, and it is rare for Sun Lauren to disappoint us, so we will back up our review. While various reviews around the world praise the look, we feel that dot prints are too trendy and less appropriate for the occasion, the kind expected to be seen in the showcases of all major networks next year. From the fiery and exotic star we would expect more.

Kerry Washington // Photo: EPA

Every red carpet has one that takes a risk and takes on an outrageous look. Elizabeth Hurley made a career out of it with the mythical brooch dress, but in the case of Kerry Washington it worked less, we wouldn't recommend trying it at home.

Dakota Fanning // Photo: EPA

The other side of the scale, the too sweet, bohemian look, is not enough to compliment the body - it is also worth preserving in the events in which the images are forever burned. A candy-colored dress made of tulle and apple sleeves with an empirical cut would probably not flatter anyone if they didn't compliment Dakota Fanning.

Selma Hayek // Photo: AFP

The star brings to the red carpet the most hideous tastelessness we've seen in a long time. The color, the cut, the cleavage, the combination of everything. It is not only provocative and successful, it is also outdated.

Margo Ruby // Photo: AFP

Margo Ruby does not look bad of course, but slightly disappointing given her expectations. The bohemian look we noted for Laura Dern's case is missed by Margo, even though it is Chanel's dress. The nonchalant look seemed appropriate for dinner at an exotic resort, not the red carpet of the most talked-about actress of the year.
