A 16-year-old girl died of meningitis in Reggio Calabria. The company management of the Great Metropolitan Hospital gave the news, according to which the death "occurred for microbiologically ascertained Meningococcal Sepsis, a disease with very high mortality even if opportunely and promptly treated". The Management makes an appeal "to avoid any alarmism, given that the infection occurs only through close and prolonged contact with a person affected by the infection".
