(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 7 - The defenders of Pietro Genovese, the 20-year-old accused of the road murder of Gaia and Camilla, filed an appeal with the Review Court to request the mitigation of the precautionary measure. Genovese has been under house arrest since 26 December. The hearing will be scheduled for the next few days. On 2 January the young man was questioned by the investigating magistrate and reiterated that he had passed with ilverde at the intersection of Corso Francia and that he had not seen the girls who were crossing the road.
