The 32-year-old disabled man who had been rescued in a swimming pool in Milan after ending up at a deep point in the pool died in the afternoon. The death was reported a few minutes before 17.30 at the San Carlo hospital, where he had arrived in serious condition after being revived by the paramedics of 118 inside the structure in via Lamennais, in the Quarto Cagnino district. The man was together with a group of 10 people and they were all part of a community for the disabled who had organized a swimming course with specialized instructors. For reasons yet to be ascertained, the 32-year-old had moved slightly away from the others, ending up at a point in the tank where he did not touch. According to what has been reconstructed so far by the police, the alarm was immediate and the intervention of the lifeguard quickly, but once pulled out of the pool he had already gone into cardiac arrest.
