About 60 firefighters managed to tame the fire around 3:30 this morning (Italian time), made fire chief Jon Lewis.
The concert hall, which was closed for renovation, was inaugurated in 1900 under the name of Camden Theater, then it became The Music Machine and then Camden Palace and Camden Hippodrome, before adopting the current name of Koko.
