(ANSA) - VATICAN CITY, JAN 7 - The calendar of liturgical celebrations presided over by Pope Francis for the months of January and February, released today by the Vatican press room, confirms that the Pope will be in Bari next February 23, Sunday, for the meeting of all the bishops for peace in the Mediterranean, promoted by the CEI, also celebrating a mass.
The calendar foresees for Saturday 25 January, in the Basilicaromana of San Paolo outside the Walls at 17.30, the celebration of the Second Vespers in the 53rd week of prayer for Christian unity. On Sunday 26 January, however, with the Mass in the Basilica of San Pietro at 10.00, the Pope will celebrate for the first time the Sunday of the Word of God, which he instituted.
On Saturday 1 February, 24 / a World Vitaconsecrated Day, the Pope will celebrate mass at the Vatican Basilica at 5.00 pm for members of institutes of consecrated life and of societies of apostolic life. Finally, Sunday 23 February, the Pope's remittance in Bari, at 10.45 am.
