That is why he decided to start 2020 with a transition to become a woman, which would consist of the placement of silicone breast implants, a facial feminization surgery and the extraction of the Adam's apple, in addition to undergoing, next year, a gender reassignment intervention.
"I lived as a caterpillar for 36 years, now I am a butterfly and I am ready to fly. It took me a lot of courage to go out as a transgender woman and I could not have done it without the love and support of my amazing family and friends. I thank you all" Alves wrote on his social networks.
