Stéphane Peterhansel achieved the second stage success in the Dakar 2020 by winning the sixth special stage between Ave and Riad. At the wheel of his Mini, the French driver got the better of his teammate Carlos Sainz and the title holder Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota), ahead of the Spaniard of 1'35 "and the Qatariot of 3'22".
In the general classification, the three leading drivers - who add up to 18 rally-raid titles - seem to have dug a significant gap compared to the rest of the competitors. Sainz dominates for the moment with 7'46 "ahead of Nasser and 16'18" over Peterhansel, aka "Monsieur Dakar". Tomorrow rest. Sunday we leave for Wadi Al-Dawasir in the southwest of the country.
