(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 10 - The celebrations for the 700 years since Dante's death in 2021, "are an opportunity for us to touch on a very important cultural theme and to give a signal of presence, alongside the ministry for cultural heritage, small Municipalities ". This was stated by the CEO of PosteItaliane, Matteo Del Fante, at the conference presenting the initiatives for the centenary with the Minister of Culture and Tourism Dario Franceschini.
Italian Post has selected 70 Small Municipalities, linked to the artistic events and life of Alighieri, who will support the creation of initiatives dedicated to the Poet. "Dante Alighieri - said Del Fante - is probably the most important cultural figure in the history of our country and still expresses today, and probably will in the future for the whole of Europe, a cultural landmark that has no equal".
