(ANSA) - PALERMO, JAN 10 - Palermo's monochrome judge Salvatore Flaccovio sentenced 12 activists and former 5-star regional deputies to a sentence between one year and one year and 10 months, and a clerk of the court for lavicenda of the false signatures presented in 2012 in support of the municipal elections Movement alista. They were accused of misrepresentation as a forgery and violation of the regional law of the 1960s on electoral consultations. Two acquitted.
The highest sentence, one year and ten months, was imposed on Samanta Busalacchi, Giulia Di Vita, Riccardo Nuti, Toni Ferrara and Claudia Mannino. One year the sentence for former regional deputies Giorgio Ciaccio and Claudia La Rocca who collaborated with the investigators; Alice Pantaleone, Salvatore Ippolito and Stefano Paradiso. At one year and six months, the lawyer Francesco Menallo and the chancellor Giovanni Scarpello were sentenced. The disputed crimes are all prescribed in February.
Riccardo Ricciardi, Pietro Salvino are acquitted.
