(ANSA) - ISLAMABAD, JAN 10 - At least 13 people, including a senior police officer, were killed and 19 others were injured in the explosion of a bomb in a mosque in the Pakistani city of Quetta, at the end of the evening prayer.
Dead and wounded were transferred to the local hospital. He is now trying to ascertain the nature of the explosion. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
Similar incidents occur regularly in Quetta. On January 7, at least two people were and another 14 were injured in the explosion of improvised devices against a military vehicle.
