(ANSA) - CATANZARO, JANUARY 10 - A "spontaneous proximity committee" is born to support the prosecutor of the Republic of Catanzaro, Nicola Gratteri. The Committee's first initiative, "the fruit - it is said in a press release - of the sensitivity of the civil society", a demonstration on 18 January in front of the Catanzaro Palace of Justice "to show closeness to the Prosecutor Gratteri, to the pool of magistrates who collaborate with him and to all forces order ".
The note also underlines "the immense and courageous work that Gratteri, his magistrates and the forces of the Ordestano created amid a thousand difficulties for Calabria. Icittadini propose themselves as an ethical, civic shield for these representatives of the institutions in their commitment, to risk of life, to "free" Calabria from the worst evil that suffocates it, crushes it and submits it every day more ". The initiative, he adds, "is devoid of ideological and political connotations. No slogans, only a sense of divinity and proximity".
