Cinema: Cinetel, receipts and admissions are growing in 2019

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 15 - 635,449 were collected at the Italian box office in 2019. 774 euros for a number of presences of 97,586,858. Compared to 2018, there was an increase in collections of 14, 35% and an increase in attendances of 13.55%. They are among the Cinetel data on the general trend of the year, illustrated today at Anica.
The box office of Italian production (including co-productions) has grown compared to 2019: it recorded a collection of 134.8 million euros (+ 5.39% compared to 2018) for a quoted total of 21.22% (in 2018 it was 23.03% ). The number of presences of Italian production (including co-productions) in 2019 was 21 million in 2019 (+ 5.56%) for a total share of 21.56%.
In general terms, the first absolute collection of 2019 is Il releone with over 37.5 million euros, followed by Avengers: Endgame and Joker. The Italian film that grossed the most in 2019 is Ficarra and Picone's first Christmas (sixth place overall, the only Italian in the top ten) with 13.3 million.
