Boxing enters the tourist training field: Thursday launched the CityBook app, a digital urban guide based on artificial intelligence. The first three cities where the guides will be launched are London, Paris and Amsterdam, and in the coming months will be joined by Tokyo, New York, Berlin, Barcelona and Rome. The service will be available to Booking.com customers who have a booking close to one of these cities.

The purpose of the app is to access tourist information such as personal recommendations for local attractions, discounts and promotions, events and interesting sites. The information flowing to tourists will come through Machine Learning technologies, which monitor various user variables, such as location, passenger vehicle (family, couple or alone), what stage of the trip they are (first day versus last day), and even weather And availability of real-time accommodation.

“With CityBook, we want our customers to have all the best options in the city in the palm of their hand,” says Ram Peftala, Booking.com's Experience Manager. "Gathering tourism information from dozens of sites and apps, and then booking everything individually, is not a simple process and we want people to focus on the fun part of planning the trip - the inspiration - and making the booking and organization easy, with everything conveniently concentrated in one place." He added that the popularity of CityBook will determine its continued development for new features that may in the future enter the Booking.com app.

The app will be available on Android or iOS version, or on the CityBook site from your computer or mobile. Once they connect with a Booking.com account you can see all the content, plan your plans and experience everything the city has to offer.
