(ANSA) - CAMERINO (MACERATA), JAN 17 - Work has begun on the construction of the new Camerino Music Academy created by the "Andrea Bocelli Foundation". In the town of Macerata, hard hit by the 2016 earthquake, the mayor Sandro Sborgia, together with Bocelli's wife, Veronica Berti, the general manager of the Foundation, LauraBiancalani and the technicians who follow the project, the work was illustrated: it will be completed in 150 days , early next summer. The complex will be built on duels in the shape of a musical instrument. It will develop on a surface of 350 square meters: a 200-seat auditorium will be built in the basement; and upstairs there are nine classrooms for teaching, and a control room equipped with the most sophisticated technologies. "My husband, Andrea Bocelli, will also be present at the opening", promised Veronica who stressed the importance of "giving young people and not only Camerino the opportunity to have a space to play and find themselves again".
