The Wuhan virus frightens and arouses anxiety. It also says a survey conducted by Swg that collected the sentiment of the Italians, who, however, feel sufficiently calm about the actions taken by the government. 44% of the thousand adults interviewed said they were quite worried, 18% very worried.

30% were more serene and said they were not very worried, while the remaining 8% did not cause nervousness to coronavirus. According to 49%, all necessary measures have been taken in Italy to deal with the spread of the epidemic. For 27% the government should do better, 24% say they have no idea.

The survey then shows that almost three out of four Italians consider the 2019-nCoV virus a real emergency, but for some (for 24% enough, for 4% a lot) the virus is not actually so serious and would be above all the fruit of a media frame.

The respondents were also asked if they believe that the spread of the pulmonary epidemic was mainly due to the ineffective management by the Chinese government, or if the virus could have spread to any other part of the world. 39% attacked the government of the People's Republic considering the action put in place ineffective, while 46% could have spread everywhere. But how much did the news of the last 15 days affect the habits of the Italians? 63% seem to have changed nothing, while 37% said they wash their hands more often, avoid crowded places, locals and Asian people. Only 3% canceled trips and 1% bought a mask.
