(ANSA) - BOLOGNA, FEBRUARY 7 - The investigating judge of the Bologna court sent to trial a 118 doctor who intervened on 10 January 2018, in the 'Virgin' swimming pool of Casalecchio di Reno, where a 24-year-old boy, disabled, died. The doctor is accused by the Bologna Public Prosecutor's Office of manslaughter. The defendant, defended by the lawyer Sabrina Di Giampietro, answers for some alleged mistakes made in the maneuvers. The death of the young man was due to arrest-respiratory tract from acute asphyxiation from drowning. The young man's family is not a civil party, as he has already been compensated. The first hearing in the trial is scheduled for May 14th.
